Great app! Makes dealing with a long list of external drives a lot easier when getting ready to take my rMBP out of my home office each morning. Also lets me see when Google Chrome is silently updating itself and mounting images to do so.

I’ve had sleep and mounting issues with Firewire 800 external drives since upgrading from Mountain Lion to Mavericks on my 2011 Mac mini. USB drives would sleep OK but Firewire drives would stay spun up unless ejected prior to sleeping the mini. When coming out of sleep the mini didn’t remount Firewire drives consistently. When Yosemite came along I did a clean install and still had the same Firewire issues. My other Mac mini (late 2009) is still on Mountain Lion and has zero Firewire issues so whatever this is it started with the Mavericks OS. Manually ejecting/remounting drives was a pain so I ended up just shutting down whenever I was done with the computer. I lived with this problem for 1.5 years as neither G-Technology nor Apple had a solution. The Mountain app (amongst its other features) now has my drives working like they should. The Mountain app has resolved the problems with Firewire connected drives so I highly recommend it. I use the "Unmount All and Sleep" feature daily, it unmounts and remounts both USB and Firewire drives consistently. Now I don’t have to worry about my G-Drive staying spun up when the 2011 mini is in sleep mode!

This app is amazing for organizing your menu bar if you have a lot up there! I have tons of menu bar apps and this lets me see them all even when menu bar menus from apps eat up most of the space.

Have a lot of drives and want to connect and disconnect fast, then this is the app. I love it. Their support is top notch as well.

This product works as advertised and all the other reviews state the many benefits. I have been using it on several Macs since early 2015 and cannot imagine not having it. One of the first apps to be installed on a new system recently as it makes mounting volumes over my network so much easier. I had an issue with the App Store not the product and their support was fast and to my extreme satisfaction solved. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This app does exactly what it says and does it very well. The developer is very responsive. If you need an app to easily manage the mounting/unmounting of internal or external drives and so much more then look no further.

This app takes care of what Apple neglected to do: make things “just work.” This was their motto, their raison d’être, before 2012, and now, it’s sad that key usability elements of the OS itself have to be patched up by third parties but boy, am I glad they’re there. Thank you, Jan Linxweiler.

I am running El Captian om a 2010 Mac Pro with a USB 3.0 PCI card with a SSD (sustem) mounted to a Apricorn Velocity X2 PCI card. This software stops the messages I was getting from USB 3 drives dismounting on sleep and having to manually re-mount them. My Mac Pro is working fine with Mountain. Bob

Nearly flawless utility to manage mutliple external USB and SMB drives. This takes the cake and is worth every little penny.

So much easier than launching Disk Utility to mount/remount drives. Love the ability to specify certain partitions on the built-in disk shouldn’t be mounted on startup.

Ive been using Mountain for a couple years. Never had issues until recently. My Mac has been running hot. Under Apps Using Significant Energy, I found Mountain ABOVE Safari on the list. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled. No difference. What a bummer. Will try this app again, just hope this is resolved soon.
